There is a lot going on right now when it comes to libraries, and as a lover of books and third spaces, I made sure to renew my library card when I moved home. This blog post is highlighting a recent trip I took to the library with my sister, where we made Japanese Keychains in honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander Month.

So, if you follow me on Instagram, you'll be aware of the fact that I recently had a teaching observation that I was very concerned about. If you don't, this is me telling you now that I felt concerned after the observation was over. Now, I finally have the notes from that observation, and I wanted to share and reflect on them today.

Tomorrow is the last day of April, which means that tomorrow is the last day of National Poetry Month. So until next year, this will probably be the last poetry round-up for a while. I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading these poems with me. I've enjoyed the opportunity to read them again and think about the semester I've had.

I believe that is the power of book clubs and discussions: that appreciation can deepen as we discuss our ideas and impressions of the poems.
